What to Bring on a Maya Bay Day from Phuket

Bring cash for the park fee if your option leaves it out (400 baht for a foreign adult, 200 for a child), your passport for the park’s e-ticket, a towel, swimwear and sun protection. Cash
The park fee is the main one. It is 400 baht for a foreign adult (the national parks department’s schedule of June 2023, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand) and 200 baht for a child (the Tourism Authority of Thailand), checked November 2026, and on many day trips it is paid in cash on the day.

Your passport
Since October 2025 the Phi Phi park has sold its entry as an electronic ticket, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand asks visitors to buy in advance and have their passport ready (20 October 2026). The tourism authority also advises keeping your park ticket on you, because park officers may ask to see it.
What the tours ask you to bring
- Swimwear and a change of clothes. On the day by Good Morning Holiday (PNT Phuket), add water shoes and a waterproof bag.
- A towel. One Asia Corporation’s day, QUEEN OF ANDAMAN PHUKET's and PHUKET SEA TRAILS' leave towels out of the price.
- Sunscreen and a hat. On One Asia Corporation's premium speed catamaran, the sunscreen should be biodegradable, and plastic bottles are not allowed.
- Medication. If you have a chronic illness, bring yours: QUEEN OF ANDAMAN PHUKET's day makes a point of it.
Seasickness
The crossing is open sea, about an hour each way. One Asia Corporation’s day hands out seasickness pills on request, and V. Marine Tour's sunrise day and the day by Good Morning Holiday (PNT Phuket) include them. One Asia Corporation’s day and Thai Adventure Club's are marked as not suitable for people prone to seasickness.
What to leave at the hotel
- Luggage and large bags. Not allowed on One Asia Corporation’s, Sea Angel Cruises' or Thai Adventure Club's boats.
- Drones. Not allowed on Sea Angel Cruises' or Good Morning Holiday (PNT Phuket)'s boats.
- A same-day flight. One Asia Corporation’s boat can be back at the pier as late as 6:00 PM; the day is not recommended with a flight the same day.
Getting there
Most of the tours sell a hotel transfer; if you meet at the pier instead, the check-in times are early: before 8:15 AM at the Boat Ramp Pier for One Asia Corporation’s day. Rassada, Chalong or Royal Phuket Marina has the piers and the pickup windows.
